Nittany Eye Associates - Windmere

I'm 55 yrs old and have never seen any optometrists. I made an appointment and was able to get in relatively fast for a Dr appointment and had the exam, testing for cataract and some other things. I'm near sighted so they set me down with a lady who helped me pick out a new pair of glasses. I was told that I would receive them in two to three weeks but they arrived 8 days after my appointment and I just wanted to say that I am 100% satisfied with the professional service care from Nittany Eye Associates. Thank you for letting me see again!

Our family has always had wonderful experiences with Nittany Eye. We have never had to wait long to be seen when we have an eye issue. We see Dr. Harsh and Dr. Talarigo for the most part, but have seen the other doctors when they aren't available. They are all very caring and listen to your needs. Picking out glasses with Sam Y is the very best! She is very knowledgeable about everything from best fit, what looks best for your face shape, and prices. She spends the time with you to make sure you are satisfied with your decision. Sam always goes above and beyond! We always appreciate everything she does for us!

Amazing service and hospitality from start to finish. Johanna was charismatic and accommodating, Dr Bauer took her time answering my questions, and Leah helped me pick the perfect frames, explaining in detail the pricing, warranties and perks of each brand. I am extremely pleased with the care and results achieved by the care team at Nittany Eye Associates Windmere- 20/20-1, a superior result that I have not had in decades!! As my primary optometrist, Dr. Harsch demonstrated consistently caring behavior and persisted until she achieved the best results with my scleral contact lenses. I was a very challenging patient with multiple eye problems, including binocular double vision. Dr. Talarigo, was consulted with on one occasion and was warm and personable, and supported Dr. Harsch's recommendation of a trial of prism eyeglasses for the double vision. Samantha Y., the optician I worked with is very caring and dedicated to helping one find the right solution for one's unique needs. She did a great job assisting me to select the right frame and features that were ideal for my vision needs, including transitions lenses and blue blocking for my light sensitivity. The prism eyeglasses look like any other type and the correction of the double vision is nothing short of miraculous after enduring significant visual stress and functional limitations for a few years. I am also much more comfortable in brightly lit environments with the transitions lenses and saw a notable improvement in headlight glare driving in the dark and rain with my new glasses and scleral contact lense combination. Thank you and your great team of technical assistants for greatly improving the quality of my life!!

Sam Y. ROCKS!!! I have been coming to Nittany Eye for years. While I love my glasses they take a lot of abuse (on and off my face thrown on my desk) as a result they are crooked and slide down my nose. Sam made adjustments and they are so comfortable now, no sliding, not to tight in fact I would say they are a perfect fit. Sam went above and beyond and cleaned my lenses and did everything with a smile and the best customer service. Thank you Nittany Eye for having such great customer service!
